Israeli army Spokesperson: A short time ago, an initial report was received of shooting at Israeli army forces operating in the Ramim Ridge area. The forces opened fire and killed a terrorist in the area. There were no casualties among our forces. The incident is still ongoing. Israeli army forces are continuing to conduct searches, in addition to Air Force aircraft that were deployed to the area. The Israeli army is in constant contact with local authorities.
Following the security incident, residents are asked to stay indoors: Residents of Misgav Am, Margaliot and Menara must act according to the directive of the Chief of Police - to stay indoors and not roam the community. Highway 886 from Patah to Menara is closed to traffic, and the road from the Tel Hai intersection to the Ramim ridge is also closed.
